First United Methodist Church of Ocala is looking for a full-time Director of Youth Ministries.
We are looking for a Christ-centered person who is passionate about youth ministry and can lead young people into Christian discipleship. This person will build a team of parents, volunteers and paid staff to create an exciting and welcoming faith community where youth can build relationships with other youth and their families and nurture their relationship with Christ.

Qualifications for this position include a strong personal faith consistent with beliefs of the United
Methodist Church, as well as strong teaching, relational, and organizational skills. Interested
candidates should have a college degree and at least three years of paid experience in youth
ministry. Salary will be commensurate with your experience and level of qualifications.
Ocala is located in beautiful North Central Florida one and a half hours from Daytona Beach and
Walt Disney World. First United Methodist of Ocala is a 2000 member church with traditional and contemporary worship services. The church has excellent resources available: well equipped Youth Building, full-time intern, generous budget, and supportive staff.
